ABOUT US
Bob's Red Lightning Barbecue and Dipping Sauce was created over years of Friday evening grilling and Saturday morning duck hunts with friends and family. The taste was inspired by chicken cookouts after sailing and races at the Oriental Yacht Club with my father, my mother's gourmet Southern cooking, and countless hunting club Grand Duck Cooks.
Our sauce is packed with fourteen different high quality ingredients so a customer once said, “I go to the store and buy a bottle of BBQ sauce under a different label and use the whole bottle whereas I only use half of Bob’s Red Lightning.” So in other words, you get more Bob’s for your buck.
We use the sauce for marinating, grilling, and dipping a variety of meats: chicken, pork, ribs, steak, fish, oysters, shrimp, and of course on duck. It's taken some trial and error, but we have finally made our sauce available for purchase. Our family and friends have come to love our sauce, and we hope that your family will feel the same. Please join us in the camaraderie, and try our sauce!
